Recommended Broghie Type: Wheat Broghies

Ingredients

1 Egg (53 calories)
1 Large Broghie Wheat are preferable for this as they bend better when warm
Salt (20 calories)
1 tbsp Sauce of your choice brown, red, bbq (18 calories)
Frylight Butter or Rapeseed(5 calories)

Preparation

This one is definitely not rocket science, but there are a few things to consider to get the best result.

1. Spray a small frying pan with Fry light butter or rapeseed if you want the fattier flavour

2. Crack the egg into a frying pan and cover with a lid. The lid will help the steam cook the top of the eggs so you don’t have to flip them, it is important you do not pop the yolk, using a lid guarantees that.

3. When the egg is cooked, place it face down on the Broghie to cover it.

4. Push down on the egg to pop the yolk and cover the Broghie with the hot yolk.

5. Drizzle your favourite sauce, ketchup, brown, or BBQ over the top and add salt to taste.

6. Leave it to sit for about a minute to allow the Broghie to soften.

7. Bend the Broghie to make a little egg sandwich.

Enjoy!
