We offer the following delivery methods:
See our dedicated shipping & delivery page here.

  • Local collection
  • Broghies by post (courier)
  • Syrups/spreads by post (Royal Mail 48Hr tracked)

6.2 Local Collection

If you live in the Grimsby area, or are prepared to travel, you can collect your products from us between 1pm and 7pm any day apart from Thursday. This of course is free of charge.

6.3 Broghies By Post

If you order Broghies by post, they will be sent via courier. We do have a packing guide on this page to tell you what we can get in each box. We recommend you buy the maximum amount of Broghies that can be fit in the box, as this will save you a considerable amount of money in the long run.

6.4 Syrups And Spreads By Post

These will be sent using Royal Mail 48Hr tracked, as other couriers will not accept liquids. These are shipped by weight, and our shopping cart will calculate the rates as you add items.

6.5. Delivery Times

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on the delivery method and destination. We do not guarantee delivery times and are not liable for delays due to factors outside our control, such as bad weather, failure by couriers or traffic conditions.

6.6. Delivery Address

Products will be delivered to the address you provide during the order process. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accurate and complete.

6.7. Non-Delivery

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or your inability to receive the delivery, we will offer the following options:

  • Refund the item cost only.
  • Resend the goods at your expense. (Postage to be paid by you)

6.8. Items Lost In Transit

All parcels are sent tracked so that we can monitor the journey and delivery of your items. Should ANY parcel be lost by any courier, we will need to put in a claim for the lost item. IMPORTANT, we cannot start a claim with most couriers until at least 10 days after the expected delivery date. If two weeks have passed since we marked your order dispatched, and it has not turned up, contact us here with your order number, and we will start the process.

At this point, we will either offer you a refund or resend the order.

  • Refund the cost of the order only, not including processing fees or shipping costs.
  • Resend the order (Postage to be paid by you)

7. Damaged Goods

7.1. Broghies

Broghies are a dried food product and are fragile in nature. We pack all Broghies in sturdy bags and boxes to secure them in transit. We also clearly mark each box as fragile. Most orders do arrive intact, however, we can NOT be held responsible if couriers or their automated sorting systems break some of your Broghies in transit. We have NO control over the handling by other companies.

Your order will leave us in an undamaged state. Should a few of your Broghies get broken, they are still edible, and therefore we can not offer refunds or returns. When ordering from us, you are accepting this limitation. Here are some great ideas for what you can do with broken Broghies.

7.2. Syrups

We wrap all bottles of syrup and jars of spreads in bubble wrap tightly and then place them in a sturdy box. We have never had the bottle of sauce break open in transit, should this happen to you, please get hold of us. Furthermore, we cannot offer refunds if a bottle is just dented.

8. Returns and Refunds

8.1. Returns

We accept returns by arrangement for sealed goods in their original packaging only. We do not accept returns for opened syrups/Broghies or “I don't like the product” reasons.

8.2. Consumer Rights Act 2015

In compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. If you receive faulty goods, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement.

8.3. Cancellation Period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods and receive a full refund. To cancel, you must notify us in writing within this period. You then have 14 days to return the goods in an unopened state after cancellation notification.

8.4. Refund Processing

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
